IRONMAN TRAINING WHILE RAISING FUNDS AND AWARENESS ON THE ISSUE OF ANIMAL WELFARE

Two years ago, Jenny Donovan decided to combine her Ironman-training efforts with a fundraising project. In just 5 weeks before race day, over $1000.00 were raised to support the efforts of a Montreal shelter’s mandate to bring down the puppy mill industry.

Now, with Ironman Canada fast approaching, Jenny and fellow triathlete Jen Allan are teaming up with S.P.A. Canada, to raise funds and awareness on the treatment of animals in Canada.

In return for your donations, the Jennys will:

  • Swim 3.8km
  • Bike 180km
  • Run 42.2km

At Ironman Canada 2011! All funds raised through the IJ2 campaign will go to the S.P.A Canada *** project.
